Dear Friends,

 The story of the wonderful work done

through Lutheran Social Services of

Northwestern Ohio. How we reach

thousands of people from all age Groups

and a variety of social, economic, and ethnic status throughout

northwest Ohio every year. How we continue tomake innovative

changes to address the changing needs of the communities

we serve. How grateful we are to be doing the work that

our Lord has called and equipped us to do. I do not often

share the amazing talents of the staff who provide services

and work together with volunteers and managers to contribute

to the success of the agency. In my thirtyone years of service at LSS of NW

Ohio I have observed how a number of dedicated staff have been employed

at the agency ready to serve. Some were new to their clinical

career and some were well seasoned in our field. All came here

to LSS of NW Ohio because we were called to reach out to

others, offering comfort and strength to clients who found

themselves in times of need. Each member of our team

contributes to the success of each client’s treatment and

to the long term sustainability of our services. We are

better together as we share special talents in the area

of computer technology, or as a receptionist in the office,

professional staff or volunteer. We all are equally valuable

to providing high quality services. We are able

to do this work only when all our talents are present and

focused upon meeting our clients needs. I hope the

featured stories included on the website will demonstrate

the dedication of our staff and appreciation of the clients

we serve together. Please let us know if one of our staff has

touched you in some way in your time of need. A heartfelt thanks is

offered to each of our staff for the wonderful job they

do serving at LSS of NW Ohio.
